Dear Psci-commers,
We are still looking for researchers to speak at a series of events about social isolation and loneliness after some plans fell through. If you have any questions or are interested in taking part then please let me know. Also, if you can know anybody who might be interested I would be grateful if you could forward the details to them.
The British Science Association, Sheffield Branch is organising a series of CineScience events, which will explore the theme of social isolation and loneliness. In collaboration with the Yorkshire branch of the society of Spanish Researchers in the UK (SRUK). We will screen a documentary film, Sueños de sal (http://suenosdesal.com/). Following this, we will have a short break for refreshments followed by a discussion with experts to allow the audience to explore the theme further.
We will be holding the event at 4 location in and around Sheffield between 9th -12th March:
We don't necessarily need to same people to speak at all events if you can only attend one event that is fine!
We can cover travel, subsistence and accommodation expenses.
All the best,
