Today the Analytical Impact Team have released Milestones: journeying into adulthood

While recognising everyone’s journey into adulthood is different – these figures show a shift in the timing and occurrence of some of life’s most important milestones over the past twenty years. For example, people who choose to get married, have children and buy their own home are doing so later in life. Young adults are also staying in full-time education for longer than they used to, with many young adults choosing to go to university. Young adults are also living with their parents for longer than previous generations.
