Research and experience tell us that tasting new dishes, encountering local ingredients and enjoying local hospitality are all key parts of a day out or holiday. Howel Food Consultancy is working on the Blas Cambrian Taste project highlighting Welsh food and drink businesses, located within a 40 minute drive from the A470, that source, sell and serve local food and drink. If you are a food business, have achieved either a grade 4 or Grade 5 in FSA food hygiene rating and would like to be part of the Blas Cambrian Taste project, they would love to hear from you. They are also keen to hear about food festivals or venues offering local food and drink experiences. Once the list of venues is complete, Visit Wales will be marketing the project in a variety of different ways. All venues will be given branded stickers and will be promoted via social media. The project is part of The Wales Way campaign so there will be a Blas Cambrian Taste link on the Visit Wales website showcasing all the venues and itineraries will also be created so that visitors can choose the best places for local food & drink when planning their trips. ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be hosted jointly by England and Wales and takes place from 30 May to 14 July 2019. Across forty five days and eleven venues, ten of the world's best international teams will battle it out to win cricket's showpiece event. The Cardiff Wales Stadium, home to Glamorgan County Cricket Club, will host four group stage matches, featuring six different nations, some of whom will bring a significant international following, in the biggest sporting event taking place in England and Wales this summer!
