Dear colleagues, 2 PhD positions in Theoretical Chemistry are available at the University of Vienna, in the group of Prof. Leticia González. The PhD positions are embedded within the Vienna Doctoral School "MolTag" (Ion channels and transporters as molecular drug targets). The graduate program is financed by a research grant of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). MolTag offers a broad three-year PhD education including courses in computational and theoretical chemistry, photopharmacology, biophysics, imaging, and soft skills. The candidates will work in an interdisciplinary environment, in cooperation with experimentalists. Candidates should successfully have completed a university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related field and have very good knowledge in quantum chemistry and/or molecular dynamics.
