First Announcement

The international Conference on Molecular Energy Transfer in Complex Systems (iCOMET2019) will be held in Hefei, China, on September 22-27, 2019 (http://icomet2019.ustc.edu.cn).

The scope of iCOMET is to provide a forum for researchers that strive towards understanding complex dynamical problems such as reaction dynamics, molecular interactions at surfaces and in the condensed phase, biological molecules and technology applications. iCOMET2019 continues a series of conferences which started in 1971 in Cambridge UK and which bring together scientists from all over the world to present and discuss cutting-edge experimental and theoretical studies, including chemical reaction dynamics, advances in theoretical chemistry, photo-fragmentation dynamics, dynamics at surfaces, cold collisions and clusters, non-covalent bonding in biological systems, ultrafast dynamics, electronically nonadiabatic phenomena, energy conversion processes and elementary processes in heterogeneous catalysis.

Leading experts in the field are invited to speak at the iCOMET2019. A list of the confirmed invited speakers can be found at the following webpage: http://icomet2019.ustc.edu.cn/html/invited.html

In addition to the invited talks, the iCOMET2019 will also select about 10 hot topic talks, as well as poster presentations. We very much encourage scholars and students to submit your works to the iCOMET2019.

The venue of iCOMET2019 is Wanda Realm in Hefei which is a beautiful resort with Hui style architectures. The hotel is located in Hefei Wanda Cultural Tourism City on the Chao Lakeside. It includes fine dining, ballroom, comfortable guestrooms and pool & fitness facilities.

Warmly welcome to the iCOMET2019. Preliminary information about the meeting can be found at http://icomet2019.ustc.edu.cn.

Sincerely yours,
Xingan Wang and Xueming Yang
Co-chairs of iCOMET2019
