The Department of Information Security at Royal Holloway has up to ten collaborative doctoral awards in Cyber Security and the Everyday with some areas particularly suitable for collaborations with the Department of Media Arts including:

• The arts and critical discourses of cyber security
Narratives of security
Media as data
Resistance through data, memes/gifs/films •
Simulation and simulated affect -emotional security data & machines
Practices of data hacking in media consumption.
