Hi Morag,


We've just started offering them here. I ran a pilot in the autumn and have now arranged for a full session to go ahead in March and another one in June. I wrote the session by doing a full literature search first, then compiling the results to create the content. I then ran a pilot and tweaked it following feedback. 


I have now got a research clinician onboard to run it alongside me, and have also incorporated ​a guest speaker session where two published clinicians will speak about their experiences.

Subject: Writing for publication workshops
 

Hi

 

One of our users has asked whether we offer ‘writing for publication’ sessions/workshops. We don’t but wondered if any of your library services offer these? If you do, could you tell me the nature/content of the sessions you run; if you don’t is there someone in your Trust who does? We thought it might be the domain of the Research department but we are interested to know if there are library services who run workshops/guidance in this area.

 

Any information would be gratefully received. Thank you.
