Job Title: GIS Technician Location: Hertford Salary Range: £21,693 pa progressing to £23,866 pa Hours: 37 per week Contract: Fixed Term Contract, ending on the 31st of March 2020 (with the possibility of extending) Job Duties: An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate GIS unit to support the development and ongoing management of the Hertfordshire County Council Enterprise deployment of the ESRI suite, including application support (desktop and web), web services, spatial datasets and spatial analysis. The successful candidate should have at least one year of experience in ArcGIS desktop software. They will also have some experience of maintaining geospatial datasets. They will have some knowledge of Ordnance Survey datasets. Ideally, they will have studied GIS or a related subject, to a degree level. They will be able to follow processes and precisely. The will be excellent at communication.
