Dear all

As you all know ARLIS has offered funding for events to mark the 50th anniversary of ARLIS. I am interested in putting together an event, or some, events, that engage with the development of writing, documentation and archiving / collecting approaches to women's art and feminist art practices during this period. This could take any form or approach that  seems relevant  to this key aspect of art design and architecture history and library practice, and could also of course engage with key current issues of decolonisation practices in art libraries . It would reflect the very key role of this period for  crucial developments in this field, and also expand ARLIS's interest in a wide range of diverse professional interests.

Would anyone be interested in setting up a planning group to discuss these ideas and put in a bid for funding to support such an event or events?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Cathy
