The ARA South West region is holding its spring meeting at Gloucestershire Archives on Monday 11^th March. The theme for the day is refurbishing and improving buildings and services. A programme is below.

 

Programme for ARA South West Region spring meeting, 11 March 2019 at Gloucestershire Archives

10:00 – arrival and refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits provided)

10:20 – welcome and housekeeping – Lucy Powell / Ally McConnell

10:30 – Heather Forbes, Gloucestershire Archives

11:20 – break

11:30 – Emily Naish, Salisbury Cathedral

12:10 – Simon Johnson, Downside Abbey

13:00 – lunch – please bring your own or there are cafes nearby. There will also be a chance to have a ½ hour tour of the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub if you are unable to go to the one at the end of the day

14:00 – ARA regional meeting

14:30 – Colin Johnston and Anne Buchanan, Bath Record Office

15:20 – Bette Baldwin, Clevedon Pier Trust

16:10 – tour of the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub – Ally McConnell. This will take approx. ½ hour but please feel free to leave instead of going on the tour
