* 6th COBAL: Call for contributions * The 6th Latin American Bayesian Conference (COBAL) http://congreso.pucp.edu.pe/cobal-vi/es/ will take place in Lima, Peru on June 19 - 21, 2019. The meeting will be hosted by the campus of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. This is the sixth of a series of meetings that took place in Ubatuba, Brasil (2002), Los Cabos, México (2005), Pucón, Chile (2011), Medellín, Colombia (2015) and Guanajuato, México (2017). The COBAL serve to disseminate Bayesian ideas within the Latin American statistical community, offering interested researchers and academics in the region the opportunity for interaction and discussion. COBAL places particular emphasis in fostering participation of junior researchers. The program will consist of short courses, plenary lectures, invited sessions, contributed sessions and posters.
