Hello Paul,Your imac, unless it is the lone late 2009 model(go to the apple on top left, click about this mac), cannot run Sierra or High Sierra which are required for the current versions of Creative Cloud apps. If it is the 2009 and you want to keep it working, I would upgrade the ram to 8gb (2x4gb modules from ebay). At this point though, it would behoove you to upgrade to a used, much newer imac (2015 onwards) if possible.bestHi Paul,The main thing is that you're running an Intel iMac, which means Creative Suit can run, it may be slow on an older machine but it will run. CS is memory hungry though so upping the RAM as much as possible is a good idea, fairly easy DIY job on an iMac, then if you're brave you could attempt swapping the HD out for a solid state, not as easy as a job as RAM but there's plenty of kids showing you how to do both installs on YouTube.Apologies for what might seem like a lazy question but I wonder if other members with greater software knowledge could advise me what upgrades I would have to make to hardware and/or operating system in order to run a current Adobe Creative Suit?
I’m using an Imac with 3.06 GHz with Intel core 2 Duo and 4gb memory. The OS is 10.6.8 and I currently use CS5 from back in the day before monthly licensing arrangements.
Many thanks
Paul
