Dear all, Registration is now open for ‘Getting Started with JHOVE’, which will take place on 25 January from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the National Library of the Netherlands. JHOVE is an open source file format identification, validation and characterisation tool for digital preservation, and part of the OPF reference toolset. It can be used by itself or as part of a digital preservation workflow. It is also embedded in several off-the-shelf digital preservation products. This half-day workshop is aimed at beginners or anyone who is new to JHOVE, and will provide participants with an understanding of what JHOVE does, how to install and configure the software and how to interpret the results. The registration fee for non-members is €50.00. Please note due to the practical nature of this workshop, we are limiting registration to 25 places. For more details about the event, and to register, please visit the event page <http://openpreservation.org/event/getting-started-with-jhove/>. We hope to see you there!
