The RCP are looking for a Media Manager to support the Head of Media and Engagement to strengthen
the RCP’s profile across all channels. The post holder will play a key part in developing an effective integrated communications service to strengthen the influence and impact of the RCP’s work.
Key responsibilities
- Lead press office function
- Manage and develop presence on social media
- Produce interesting multimedia content including vlogs and podcasts
- Provide high-level communications support and advice to officers and
senior staff
- Research new media outlets and PR opportunities
- Be part of out of hours press office rota
About You
- Educated to degree level standard or equivalent
- Understanding of current health agenda in the UK
- Experience of working in a similar role managing multiple projects and developing integrated communications strategies across organisations and with
partners
- Expertise in social media
- Effective writing skills
- Flexible, proactive and collaborative approach to work
