DAPHNE JACKSON FELLOWSHIPS – NEW OPPORTUNITIES

 

Are you are looking to return to research in a STEM area, after a two year career break taken for caring, health or family reasons? The Daphne Jackson Trust are the UK’s leading organisation dedicated to realising the potential of scientists and engineers returning to research following a career break and we have the following great new Fellowship opportunities:        

 

1)                ELIZABETH BLACKWELL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL http://www.bristol.ac.uk/blackwell

·        20 month Fellowships, part-time (60% FTE) basis, in health related research. Fellows must be available to start in or before January 2020

·        As a Fellow you would be committing to the funding policies and position statements of the Wellcome Trust

·        Closing date for applications is Monday 18th February 2019

 

2)               THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH

·        Three year Fellowships, part-time (50%FTE) basis, in College of Science and Engineering  

·        Closing date for applications is Monday 25th February 2019

 

3)               IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON          https://www.imperial.ac.uk/research-and-innovation/research-office/funder-information/funding-opportunities/internal-funding-opportunities/issf/                       

·        Three year Fellowship, part-time (50%FTE) basis, in either the Faculty of Medicine, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or the Business School, within Wellcome Trust Institutional Strategic Support Fund science remit.

·        Closing date for applications is Monday 11th March 2019

·        Applicants must include a letter of support from the appropriate Head of Department, acknowledging that they agree to host the fellowship if it is awarded, and cover associated costs within their Department.

 

These Fellowships are half sponsored by these institutions and the remaining funding will be secured by the Daphne Jackson Trust from an additional sponsor.
