Subject: Royal Society Medals and Awards still open
Dear all,
Off the back of Marianne’s message, I should also like to remind everyone that nominations for the Royal Society’s Medals and Awards are still open.

This year
23 awards are open for nominations, including the Michael Faraday Prize Lecture awarded to
the scientist or engineer whose expertise in communicating scientific ideas in lay terms is exemplary.
The society is also offering 11 topic-specific scientific Medals this year which are awarded with an associated public lecture.
Nominations remain open until
Monday 28 January, 3pm so do please get your nominations in!
All the very best,
Dr Nick Crumpton
