(apologies for cross posting)

The deadline to submit a talk and/or poster to the Natural Sciences Collections Association (NatSCA) 2019 conference has been extended until 31st January.

All the details on the conference can be found here: http://natsca.org/natsca2019. Please do have a look – it is going to be an excellent conference.

The event will be held between the 1st and 3rd May 2019 at the National Museum of Ireland, Dublin – Collins Barracks site.

This year’s conference aims to unlock the secrets of collections success by sharing how our members and colleagues in the wider sector have used collections to benefit their organisations, communities and the wider world.

We will host three themed sessions, with a focus on:

Collections: Reveal your collections care, research and access secrets.

Engagement: What are your engagement success stories and how did you make them happen?

Museums and Technology: How has technology helped you unlock, understand and unleash your collections?

Please submit any talk abstracts to [log in to unmask].

We are looking for a diverse rrange of talks and welcome submissions from an array of backgrounds, they do not necessarily have to be natural history related.

Many thanks and hoping to see some of you in Dublin!
