For a colleague in India, I forward a query beyond my expertise. Can members help? Thanks Tim Fulford Margaret Noble came to India as a disciple of Swami Vivekananda and was given the name of Sister Nivedita. It seems she played a fairly active role in clubs and societies like the Sesame Club in London and the Liverpool Science Club in the 1890s before she came out to India.
