ALPSP course - 'Project Management for Publishing' - 17 May 2019

This is an essential course for those managing publishing projects.
This full day workshop goes beyond the theory, taking a highly practical approach in which delegates tackle real-life project scenarios they have provided in advance.

* The need for project management
* Project management overview, principles and life cycles
* Project management methods: starting projects, planning, tracking and controls
* Publishing case studies demonstrating both what to do and what not not do
* Avoiding failure: managing risk, issues, change and the people-side of projects
* It's a team game: roles and responsibilities
* Break-out sessions focusing on project scenarios provided by delegates
