Additional information
I have used the raw data to calculate the motion outliers using fsl_motion_outliers followed by regressing out the time points of excess movements (commands given below). 
fsl_motion_outliers -i EPI.nii.gz -o confound_w_mo_co.txt --dvars -s dvars_w_mo_co
converted confound_w_mo_co.txt to confound_w_mo_co.mat
fsl_glm -i EPI.nii.gz -d confound_w_mo_co.mat --out_res=EPI_dvars.nii.gz
fslcpgeom EPI.nii.gz EPI_dvars.nii.gz

The output of this exercise (EPI_dvars.nii.gz) was then fed into MELODIC for calculating Independent components, during which   the error msg came as below
/usr/local/fsl/bin/susan prefiltered_func_data_thresh 0.0 2.54777070064 3 1 1 mean_func 0.0 prefiltered_func_data_smooth
ERROR MESSAGE:
child killed: segmentation violation

Kindly comment where exactly you see any problems in this analysis
