I don’t think that would be necessary if it worked okay, but perhaps an FSL dev could confirm.

With the changes, should we consider rerunning our FIX’d fMRI data once the FSL6 fix is released?

Thank you!  That is good to know.

Its a new requirement and hopefully a fix will be out soon.  The blas-based maths functions are substantially faster than what was in FSL before and make melodic much more efficient.

Subject: [FSL] FIX and FSL 6.0 issue with openblas library.

Hello.

When trying to use FIX with FSL 6.0 I get the following error during template generation when doing the Leave One Out testing.

Error using call_fsl (line 36)

FSL call (/bin/sh -c '. /N/soft/rhel7/fsl/6.0.0/etc/fslconf/fsl.sh; fslnvols

../10099_4/topup_nback.ica/filtered_func_data.ica/melodic_IC >

/tmp/tp1096297961633433') failed, fslnvols: error while loading shared

libraries: libopenblas.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or

directory

This is obviously a library error, but I can confirm that this error only happens within the matlab part of the run.  The libopenblas.so.0 file is very much available on the system and is part of my LD_LIBRARY_PATH.  For some reason matlab cannot see this library when calling FSL from within during the FIX template creation.  I can confirm also that the template creation works fine using FSL 5.0.10 or 5.0.11.

Any suggestions?  It seems the libopenblas.so.0 is a requirement of FSL 6 where it wasn’t for previous versions.
