https://nbirth2019.exordo.com/
Oral Presentation
Poster Presentation
Film or video or multimedia Presentation
Symposium
Workshop
Multiple submissions
The same presenting author can submit multiple abstracts, but, if more than one is accepted, they will need to choose which to present.
Only one presentation (of any type) will be programmed for any individual presenting author, to allow the opportunity for different people to present their work.
Word count
For all abstracts except symposia,
the maximum word count is 400
If you are submitting for a symposium, the maximum word count is 1000
For fairness to all, abstracts longer than these guidelines will be cut off at the word limit before being sent to the peer reviewers, so
we strongly advise you to stick to the word limit!
Workshop and Seminar format
Workshops and symposia will be allocated 90 minutes total. Workshops should demonstrate how they will allocate at least half of the session for engagement/discussion
Seminar sessions must include at least 3 linked papers/presenting authors, and each paper must be separately described in the abstract, along with a
rationale explaining how they are linked.
Abstract types and structure
Abstracts presenting primary research must include findings or a guarantee that findings will be available in time for the conference.
Abstracts should
not include references. Please structure abstracts presenting primary research by the following headings:
Background; Objectives; Methods; Findings; Conclusions/implications
Abstracts presenting theory, practice, policy change, and etc. should include the following headings:
Background; Rationale for theory or policy/practice change; Description of application; Impact; Discussion
Statements to be included in all abstracts
All those submitting abstracts must complete the boxes in the submission process that relate to ethics
approval and funding (specifying the source, or that these were not relevant for the submission).
