Dear All,

On a single particle cryo-EM data refined in relion 2, I wanted to do Bayesian  polishing. And therefore after MotionCorr2 etc. in Relion 3 pipe line, I did a 3D refinement on exactly the same set of particles which I  used in Relion 2 for auto-refine.

Refinement converges to the same resolution as Relion 2, map looks the same. But in Relion 3 post-processing, none of the FSC curves except the one for phase-randomized masked maps ever touches zero. They plateau around 0.02-0.03. I tried playing with wider/softer masks but that doesn't help.

What could be going wrong?
