Digital and the Archive: Preservation, research and engagement

We are delighted to share the details of our upcoming annual event, the Gerald Aylmer Seminar. Jointly convened by The National Archives, The Royal Historical Society and the Institute of Historical Research, the seminar brings together historians and archivists to discuss mutual topics of interest.

This year’s seminar looks at the impact of digital technology on archives and historical research. The event seeks to raise and debate digital problems, considering how academics and archives can work together to address these.
