The Perth-based band, Running wi' Scissors is delighted to announce that we have released a new album with all the proceeds going to Phoenix House Glasgow.  

The Band - Molly McCabe - vocals & guitar; Rowdy Yates - vocals, mandola & guitar; David McFarlane - vocals, fiddle & guitar; Chris Small - vocals, guitar, harmonica & cajon

The Charity - Phoenix House Glasgow is the only therapeutic community for recovering addicts in Scotland.  The therapeutic community is an intensive approach which emphasises peer support and self-help rather than the usual therapist-patient dynamic.  It has proved remarkably successful over the past 50 years.

The album -  The album is called "On a Wing and a Prayer" and includes 15 tracks - one of which is a new version of the EFTC (European Federation of Therapeutic Communities) anthem "In This House".  Album sleeves were designed and printed by colleagues in KETHEA (a Greek therapeutic community), disc duplication was donated by Mad Ferret Records and the English artist, David Bez donated a painting to be used for the front cover.  Copies can be bought online at:

You can buy the actual discs which will be shipped to you in 48 hours (so if you're quick you'll have them in time to give to friends for Christmas!). 

But do be quick!  There are only a few days to go and mail (particularly mail to addresses outside the UK may take a little longer). 

Payment is via Paypal which accepts payment through all the usual credit/debit cards in GBP, USD, AUD, Euro etc.  The hardcopy disc comes with an additional free download if you want the digital version as well.  There is also an option to purchase as a gift.
