Hi Lowri,

It depends where you get them from I think – we used amazon for our first set, as a test, and now our Technical Services team have switched as well and we are using their supplier- afraid I don’t have the names to hand but if you mail me on [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> I could find out for you.

The gloves we have now are 200 to the box, so more per box than our old supplier.

Ditto, sounds like a good idea! Are the Kimtech gloves similar in price to other suppliers?

Many thanks,
Lowri

Hi all,

A while ago I emailed to ask if anyone had any tips on how to recycle gloves – thank you to everyone who responded with suggestions.

We’ve gone with the Terracycle Scheme – website with details here https://www.terracycle.co.uk/en-GB/brigades/gloves<https://www.terracycle.co.uk/en-GB/brigades/gloves>

They only accept Kimtech gloves, which has meant we have change supplier - PEL don’t supply them (that I’m aware of anyway). They have been very helpful over email, although not always the quickest at responding (but then I can’t talk on that front). The recycling box is sent to you in the post and is huge, I expect it will take us over year to fill. Once it is full you just seal it and the company comes and collects them from you.

Anyway I wanted to share in case anyone else was looking at this too.
