Hi Janet

Contact the Association of Anatomical Pathology Technology, website is http://www.aaptuk.org/. I thought Mortuary workers were covered in the Green Book. I have other guidance associated with funeral staff, infection control and embalming but I’m guessing that isn’t what you are looking for.

Regards

Karen

Hello Janet,

The HSE publishes a document called 'managing infection risks when handling the deceased', which is a useful guide, they also include TB.

best wishes Julie

HI

Does anyone have a risk assessment that identifies what the mortuary workers require in way of vaccinations?

I know Hep B, what about hep A / tetanus?

Thanks in advance.
