STEP

Good luck to everyone waiting for university offers!

Changes to the STEP 2 and STEP 3 modules are almost complete, and there will be a new STEP 3 vectors module available in the new year. When working through old past papers, you might find the STEP specification mapping document useful.

If you are wanting to find questions for a particular topic then the STEP database has the past 30 years of STEP questions available and is searchable by keyword.

Further updates on the changes to the modules and further developments by the STEP support programme will be posted on the STEP discussion forum.

Our latest primary and secondary features

Image

When working mathematically, we use many different ways of showing (or representing) our thinking. For example, you might draw a picture, use some equipment, create a table of results, or look for an algebraic rule.

In our latest primary and secondary features, we offer students opportunities to consider different representations which will help them to develop a more connected understanding of mathematical ideas.

Don't forget to submit your solutions to the new live problems before Monday 4th February, and take a look at the recently solved problems to see if your solution has been published!
