medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Can anyone direct me to a literature on teaching in medieval convents? I'm particularly interested in a Benedictine convent which may have been charging fees for educating girls who did not necessarily enter a religious life on graduating. I may be misreading the situation as I have no context to compare it with.
