Dear membership

The Women in Media Studies Network (WMSN) is calling for nominations from women in our field for a new chair of the network after the current chair, Milly Williamson, is standing down in January after ten years. The network funds a number of wonderful events each academic year on issues related to women in the field. The chair will be supported by a vice-chair and a longstanding and experienced network committee.  We will be holding elections for the new chair at the WMSN network AGM at the MeCCSa conference in Stirling this January. If you wish to be put forward for election, please send Milly a short statement (of no more than 150 words) about what you can bring to the post to [log in to unmask]. You do not have to attend the conference to nominate yourself, but you do need to attend the WMSN AGM at the Stirling conference to vote. Nominations are open until January 7, 2019. We are very much looking forward to hearing from you and for electing a new chair with great ideas. If you wish to have a quick chat about what the role entails, please contact me on the email address above.

Thanks

Milly
