Thanks to all who replied to my query, I sent the list of suggestions to the clinician, and his reply is below, in case anyone has the same issue:

It really seems to be dependent on the so called "google play country". However, there is a warning that one could change someone's google play country only once per year, so I will not proceed.”

Best wishes

Subject: BNF app query

Dear all,

Hope no one is currently being blown away by the wind!

I have a query about the BNF app, I have contacted the BNF directly but I’m not convinced of a speedy response. A clinician here in Leicester has tried to download it from the Android app store on numerous occasions, following the standard way of installing, and it keeps giving him the message that it is not available for download in his country. He isn’t from the UK originally, but he’s using a phone on a UK network, so what could the issue be? Anyone have any ideas that I could employ and let him mistakenly believe I am a technical whizz?

Many thanks

Pip
