I am currently assisting with urgent research on specific aspects of the Lennox Castle learning disabilities hospital (closed in 2002). One source is research conducted in the 1990s by Howard Mitchell and a fair amount of videos etc from this are online and gathered into several Open University courses. These refer to his source work as: Mitchell, H. (2002) Lennox Castle: the Human History of an Institution, MXM Publications, Edinburgh. I had initially assumed this was a published book of his research but I can't find any trace of such a book by any of the usual channels. Before I approach the author (or the OU ..) to find out what exactly this reference is to has anyone ever come across it? My suspicion is that the bulk of the content is in the various videos available via the OU etc but I don't want to overlook any written material which may exist. thanks Chloe Stewart Specialist Subject Librarian James Bridie Library, New Victoria Hospital (Tues-Thurs) 0141 347 8885 Twitter @nhsggclibrary Our new NHSGGC Reading Challenge will run from April - September 2019.
