Dear all

 

As the start of the festive season approaches just a reminder about our upcoming event and how to book your place:

 

Date: Thursday 10th Jan, Manchester Methodist Central Building https://www.methodistcentralbuildings.org.uk/ which is right in the heart of Manchester and only 10 minutes’ walk from either Piccadilly or Victoria train station.

 

You can attend either the morning session or afternoon or both!

 

Morning- Digital Development Masterclasses (Registration from 9.15am, 9.30am start)

A series of talks and exchange of experience from staff involved in digital skills development from Further Education Libraries, CILIP and Jisc.

Confirmed Speakers: Paul McKean (Jisc), Corinne Walker (Oldham Sixth Form College), Tracey Totty (Middlesbrough College) Daniel Livesey (CILIP) and others TBC.

Finish 12.30pm.

 

Afternoon –Learning Development Masterclasses (Registration from 1.15pm, 1.30pm start).

A series of presentations by practitioners who have gained HEA Fellowship from Fellow to National Teaching Fellow discussing how they attained the accreditation and the projects which they have been involved in to achieve them.

Mary Barden, SFHEA University of Bolton, LEAP Online (winner of the LILAC Digital Literacy Award 2018)

Louise Minta, FHEA University of Liverpool (Formerly Bury College) Gaining Fellowship an FE perspective.

Sarah George, NTF, University of Bradford. Title TBC.

Finish 4pm.
