Please join us in Edinburgh on Saturday 15th December from 2-5pm for an afternoon of talks and discussion on Scotland's relationships with Europe past and present.

Distinguished guests include Professor Sir Tom Devine OBE FRSE HonMRIA FBA FSA Scot., who will present a lecture titled:

How Highlandism Conquered Europe: From Sir Walter Scott to Brexit

There will follow a Roundtable with speakers including Dr Gerry Hassan, author of Scotland, the UK, and Brexit (2017), and representatives of the Centre for Nineteenth-Century Studies<https://www.dur.ac.uk/cncs/> at Durham University, the Society of Dix-Neuviemistes<https://uksdn.wordpress.com/about/> and the RSE-funded project Establishing SNNEC<http://www.snnec.com>
