EDINA is a world-class centre for digital expertise, based at the University of Edinburgh. We seek a full time Geospatial Technician to support, maintain and develop our online services and projects for delivering geographic information. The work is primarily focused on the data and database aspects of our services, providing operational cover and undertaking aspects of service development.

Ideally you will have a degree in a geospatial science or related discipline, expertise with using a range of GIS applications, database skills and practical experience of handling and processing a range of different geospatial data types and data.

You will be able to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, the ability to work with time pressures and have good problem solving skills. The ability to work as part of a dynamic team is essential.

This post is offered on a full time, open-ended basis.
