University of Wolverhampton, Faculty of Arts is looking to recruit a new External Examiner for the following Undergraduate course:

•	MA Popular Culture

The programme at Wolverhampton is based on an advanced level study on various aspects of popular culture, principally produced and consumed in Britain since the late nineteenth century.  Central aspects of the course include the role of popular culture in everyday life, the archiving and memorializing of popular culture, and popular genres. This is one of very few courses of this nature in the country. It draws on internationally acknowledged expertise in the fields that contribute to the programme.

The Faculty of Arts within each of our four Schools can offer, whether your interest is Art and Design, Humanities, Media or Performing Arts, a wide range of courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, for students who wish to study in some inspirational surroundings using state-of-the-art technology.

The External Examiner appointment will run from the 2019-20 academic year for a 4-year tenure.

The University of Wolverhampton will make the final decision on any appointment and will need to ensure there are no conflicts of interest with existing examiners.
