External Advisor required for BSc Digital Construction 

The University of Salford is looking for an external advisor to comment on the academic approval of a new programme: BSc Digital Construction. 

This will take place on Tuesday 15 January 2019 and will last approximately two hours. We will work with you to find a time convenient to the Panel and yourself, and all details will be confirmed before the event. 

The successful applicant should have experience in teaching and examining at a UK HE institution, have a good understanding of quality assurance issues at HE level, including the QAA Quality Code and have specific subject knowledge in the programme(s) being considered. 

Documentation will be shared with you approximately two weeks prior to the event. Your role will be to prepare for the event by scrutinising the documents and highlighting any issues/areas you would like to further explore at the meeting.  Areas for consideration will include partnership links, quality and standards, teaching and learning, and the student experience.

You will be expected to share fully in the discussions in terms of challenges and developments from your own experiences and compare this with the proposals outlined in the documentation.

An honorarium of £150 plus all reasonable expenses will be paid.
