We are using a paper backed Colorama back ground as an alternative to velvet, which is very good.

This one is vinyl backed, slightly thinner and more flexible than the paper backed one, but we have stopped using it because it sheds a lot of black fibres!!

Hello,

 

Could anyone recommend a ‘tried and tested’ black velvet supplier please?  The only supplier I’ve used before is MacCulloch & Wallis, Soho, but I’m after something a little cheaper, maybe ebay!

 

It will be for keeping backgrounds as close to zero-black as possible and to stop the need to cut-out the subjects (fossils)?
