Hi Paul

There are many published gas chromatography with flame ionization detection (GC–FID) techniques to measure phytosterols in fortified foods  aimed at our bovine friends. Specifically, feeding regimes that would increase milk yield and reduce methane emissions.

Intrigued as to the relevance to homo sapiens, unless of course you have a cunning plan on climate change

1.       Is there anyone out there who measures phyosterols?

2.       Do Phytosterols cross react in the Roche cholesterol method?

Any enlightenment would be appreciated
