Due to the fact that on January 1, 2019, new provisions on shortening the
period of storage of employment documentation will come into force, the
Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy has presented a draft
ordinance act pursuant to the new legislation i.e. the Regulation on
Employment Records (“Regulation”). The Regulation will have a
significant practical impact and it imposes new obligations on the
employer in respect of the keeping and storing of employment records.
