Dear all,
2nd World AIDS Day at the Francis Crick Institute
30 November, 14:00-18:00, the Francis Crick Institute, London
We are excited to announce that we are holding our 2nd World AIDS Day event at the Francis Crick Institute.
The event aims to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS, and highlight the importance of HIV research, prevention and policy.
It will be a great opportunity to learn how basic HIV research directed the development of successful therapies against HIV, to catch up with what’s going on the HIV vaccine frontline, as well as recent HIV prevention strategies implemented in the UK, such as PrEP.
We will also have updates from the National AIDS Trust (NAT) on their work to improve the lives of people affected by HIV in the UK, and the Crick African Network on their work to promote economic development and healthcare in partner African countries.
The event is FREE! Full programme and registration can be found here (via Eventbrite):
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/2nd-world-aids-day-at-the-crick-tickets-49131632034
On the day, we will be collecting donations for the National AIDS Trust (NAT) in exchange for red ribbons!
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Kind regards,
Paula Ordonez Suarez
