2nd World AIDS Day at the Francis Crick Institute

 

30 November, 14:00-18:00, the Francis Crick Institute,London 

 

 

We are excited to announce that we are holding our 2ndWorld AIDS Day event at the Francis Crick Institute.

 

The event aims to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS, and highlight theimportance of HIV research, prevention and policy. 

 

It will be a great opportunity to learn how basic HIV research directed thedevelopment of successful therapies against HIV, to catch up with what’s goingon the HIV vaccine frontline, as well as recent HIV prevention strategies implementedin the UK, such as PrEP. 

 

We will also have updates from the National AIDS Trust (NAT) on their work toimprove the lives of people affected by HIV in the UK, and the Crick AfricanNetwork on their work to promote economic development and healthcare in partnerAfrican countries.
