I have begun a mapping of our current procedures and processes which this relates to this (predominantly Academic Misconduct, Student
Disciplinary, and in some aspects Fitness to Practise). This is proving a substantially larger tasks than I first assumed, as the rabbit hole takes me in to all sorts of other procedures and processes I don’t oversee (such as ICT, Library, fitness to study,
bullying & harassment policies etc).
Generally I think Salford’s principles are in line, but we may choose to finesse some of the processes.

Subject: OiA Good practice framework for disciplinary procedures
Dear all,
Just thought I'd post this as people in case people missed it last month:
The "guidance will inform the way that the OIA considers complaints relating to disciplinary matters from the 2019/20 academic year."
Some interesting approaches to intent and mitigation of penalties should be noted. As we are currently reviewing our policy, I expect this may have an impact on our approach and will fill you
in on details once the review is complete.
Kind regards,
Stephen
