Hi This is what I’m trying to do. Our contract says nothing about seeing dependents and this is the first time since I started working with them in April that it’s been expected. I provide an OH service to a specific industry via their welfare service but last week had 2 dependents of industry staff booked in to see me. Both have complex health issues but I felt uneasy about what expectations they and the Welfare service had regarding potential outcomes. I am currently having a dialogue with the Welfare team regarding the reason for these dependents being referred and what they want from me. My concern is whether this puts me in a legally, ethically or morally difficult position. I had no prior warning that these were not industry staff and now I have been asked to submit an OH report for each. I feel very uneasy about this and would appreciate some advice.
