Dear all, 

The Department of Cultural, Visual and Media Studies, University of Nottingham, is appointing a Professor of Creative and Cultural Industries. 

We seek candidates with a broad knowledge of cultural and creative industries with specific expertise in screen and/or media industries, and/or the creative and heritage sectors, and/or cultural policy and cultural labour. You will undertake a substantive programme of research consistent with professorial standing, whilst enhancing and widening the department’s relationship with external cultural and creative industries, leading to grant applications, impact case studies and research outputs. 

You will have responsibility for contributing to leading the department in administrative terms as well as serving as Head of Department in rotation with colleagues, and will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as supervising postgraduate research students. 

The successful candidate will be expected to raise the profile of the Department of Cultural, Media and Visual Studies both within the University and beyond, at the national and international levels.

This is a full time, permanent position.
