This is a reminder to all MCG members that the deadline for the four ‘One by One’ Digital Fellowships is this Thursday:
15th November.
Launched at the MCG’s
Museum+Tech Conference in 2017, ‘One by One’ is a 30-month national research project helping to build digitally confident museums.
‘One by One’ is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), is led by The University of Leicester (School of Museum Studies) in partnership with Culture24, and is being delivered together with a range of museums, strategic
sector agencies and academic partners, including HLF, Arts Council England, the Museums Association, the Association of Independent Museums, Nesta, Collections Trust and the Museum Development Network.
Building on the key
findings from the opening phases of the project, we are now recruiting four
Digital Fellows to join the ‘One by One’ team from
Phase 4 onwards.
Each Fellow will lead a transformative Action Research Project in one of the partner museums across the UK: Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales; National Museums Scotland; National Army Museum; Museum of London; Derby Museums; Royal
Pavilion Museum Brighton & Hove.
Digital Fellows will have significant research experience and skills, and a passion for the subject matter.
Part time (0.4 fte), £34,189 - £35,211 (pro-rata), fixed term contract, to 29 February 2020.
