Hi Hannelore
It is currently but that’s not to say it should remain so! The list is becoming increasingly international in terms of membership so it would seem sensible that the Committee reflected that.
All best
Lizzie

Subject: Lis-Bibliometrics Committee - call for new members
Dear colleagues,
The Lis-Bibliometrics Committee would welcome expressions of interest from members of the HE community who would like to join the Committee. A list of current Committee members is available on
The Bibliomagician blog. The Committee is fairly ‘light touch’ and meets twice a year – once virtually and once face-to-face - performing other business via email. We plan to move towards more of
a role-based Committee with each member taking on a particular area of responsibility that they can run with and make their own. This may include: managing or deputising the Bibliomagician blog; overseeing Lis-Bibliometrics events; competencies and training;
international links; or supplier relationships.
We are a friendly bunch of fellow practitioners – no airs and graces! If you would like to get involved, please could you signify your interest on this simple form:
https://lboro.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/lis-bibliometrics-committee-membership-application Initial terms usually run for two years with the option of staying on for a further term by mutual agreement. If you have any specific questions, please contact me directly
by email. The closing date for applications is 30 November 2018. Terms will start in January 2019.
Best regards
Lizzie
