Hi all,

I mentioned this at the Urban conference in Birmingham yesterday and said I would circulate the link:

If anyone is thinking of putting in a proposal and wants to talk about the “Call”, please drop me a line.

Best wishes

Call for Proposals relating to Project No: 7868 – improving sector Reference Resources

This call for proposals is to fund projects to update and make existing Reference Resources publicly available. This can be online or in another digital format.

Historic England has been funding Reference Resources (Typologies, Reference Collections, Identification guides, Corpora, Syntheses, Thesauri, Word lists & Classification Schemes, Glossaries) for a number of years.
These works years are the essential building blocks of historic environment research. They help researchers identify and understand all aspects of past human life including the natural and historic environment. They are used to inform all areas of basic and applied research, including identification, classification, chronological sequencing and inter-site comparison.

The link for the call for proposals is here, which includes details of the call, timetable and funding: https://historicengland.org.uk/services-skills/grants/our-grant-schemes/hpc/proposals/
