Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship working on a collaborative project with Prof. Joe Kable in the Department of Psychology and Profs. Desmond Oathes and Ted Satterthwaite in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. Funded by a private donor, the project seeks to examine the behavioral and neural effects of neuromodulation with rTMS on perspective taking, delay discounting and selfishness measured with behavioral assays and TMS/fMRI readouts. Previous experience with fMRI, brain stimulation, neuroeconomics and/or decision-making research is preferable but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology or related field, strong computational skills, and a strong record of previous research. Penn offers an outstanding research environment and this position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative team science environment. Laboratory and Penn resources include research-dedicated 3T and 7T MRI scanners, concurrent TMS/fMRI setups and concurrent TMS/behavior/psychophysiology setups as well as a computing core and advanced imaging analysis tools.
