I think it used to say it in the General Regulations but I have just had a look at this year’s regs and it isn’t in there – just says a record must be kept of certificates when sent.

 

We don’t send them recorded anyway – students either collect in person or pay for their choice of first class, second class or signed for.

Where does it state that GCSE and GCE certificates have to be posted by recorded delivery – do any centres offer collection and then post via 2^nd class?
